LOWE® Model XR-14 Trencher
The XR-14 trenching attachment is a large frame XR-Series trenching attachment, yet with the fastest chain speed. With the modern enhancements found in all our XR trenchers, its roots date back to Lowes first trenching attachment produced in 1985.
It is highly productive on small and medium sized skid loaders and track loaders. Best production occurs with shorter booms and easy to moderate trenching conditions.
Suggested hydraulic requirements:
Flow – 10 to 20 GPM (42-76 Lpm)
System Pressure – up to 3,300 psi (22,753kPa) continuous, 4,000 psi (27,578 kPa) max

· 24 inches (610 mm)
· 36 inches (914 mm)
· 42 inches (1,067 mm)
· 48 inches (1,220 mm)
Digging Width Options:
· 6 inches (152 mm)
· 8 inches (203 mm)
· 10 inches (254 mm)
· 12 inches (305 mm)
Digging Chain Options:
· Standard – tooth every other available position
· Double Standard ABF – Tooth every available position
· ½ Rock & Frost – ½ of teeth are conical carbide, ½ are normal cupped teeth
· Full Rock and Frost – all teeth are conical carbide
· Welded Carbide – welded teeth with cemented carbide cutting edges
